BLUE BANANA BRAND X CANON

ONE SHOT

 POROJECT ONE SHOT

Blue Banana Brand reached out to me with a question that sparked my imagination: If you could capture your dream photograph anywhere in the world, where would it be? Instantly, one place came to mind—the Valley of the Gods, the only spot on Earth where you can witness four 8,000-meter peaks in a single frame.

Two years ago, I was gifted a book about a group of climbers who set out to conquer one of these legendary peaks. The author painted a vivid picture of an impossibly remote valley, where mountains tower so high that you have to lean back just to take them all in. At the time, I never imagined that one day, I’d stand in that very place, camera in hand, experiencing its vastness firsthand.

This week, as we celebrate World Photography Day, join me on a once-in-a-lifetime journey—from Canada to Pakistan—chasing the photograph I’ve always dreamed of capturing. Gondogoro La and K2 are among the most remote and unforgiving places on Earth, known for their breathtaking beauty but also their deadly nature. Yet, after 17 grueling days in these mountains, I discovered something else—if you know where to look, they are also places of profound generosity, wonder, and raw inspiration.

I traveled to a country I was told never to visit. And in doing so, I found something truly extraordinary.
